Hello eveyone,

It is Sunday July 31 2005 and my family and I went to church this morning, as usual it was a great service. It was on the topic of communion. So I wanted to share a few things on it. We must fully understand and practice Christ's commandment to remember hm through communion on a regular basis. It seems that everytime we take the elements, I can sense Christ in my life. This is another reasureance that he is living and dwelling in me.

In 1 Corinthians it says:

23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.

I hope that eveyone will do some research on this commandment that Christ has given us.

Hello everyone, Thank you for all the welcomes, and I was at a mens group I belong to, and I shared about how my wife and I found a Newsong church in MI. They all thought it was cool.

In our mens group we share on how our week went and its called Word, Walk, Witness, Faith.

Word ~ Did you read the word this week and what did you read?
Walk ~ How was your walk in the faith this week? Did you stumble in some area of your life?
Witness ~ Did you get a chance to share the gospel with someone?
Faith ~ What do you believe in God to do in your life?

The mens group I belong to has really made a impact on my spiritual life, I needed growth and I wasn't getting it, I was spiritually starving, and I found it in this small group. The friendships I have made are outstanding and I want to give praise to God for this wonderful blessing.

For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them." Matthew 18:20

Hello my name is John and I wanted to tell everyone a little bit about myself. I am 27 years old and I have a wonderful family; my wonderful wife, and my three kids. Asking my wife to marry me was the second greatest thing that ever happened to me. (This is where you would ask me...What is the first greatest thing that has ever happened to you?) Almost 4 years ago I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Savior! From that day on my life has changed tremendously. So here is my story on how I got saved.

I was at work with a friend who was my boss and a Christian. I had a horrible month, been in an accident with a work vehicle, and two weeks later, I almost completely tore down the garage door at the shop at work. We finally got the door to shut and we started to talk. He asked me if I knew the Gospel of Jesus Christ? And I had known about Jesus but I didn't KNOW Jesus. So he explained what Jesus did for everyone. And he asked me if I wanted to "get saved". So he led me in prayer to receive Him as my Lord and Savior. I didn't notice any difference in my life right away, but I knew I was saved.

Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
